Hi there, ive searched al the previous threads on this (and trust me there are plenty) and i cant get a definitive answer regarding other lifts.

I visited Venom today and they told me that all their lifters for the octavia have been discontinued and will not be getting anymore in. Ebay has been fruitless with none listed and im not a fan of drilling my hinge to fit the Fbia ones.

I heard somewhere that the mk3 golf ones fit....is this true? apparently have an open length of 39cm and closed of 23.3cm.

Could anyone confirm?

I know id have to bend the end to get them on.

I have mk3 lifters on mine but you have to bend the ends where they fit onto bonnet hinges as they are a odd angle

Just to be sure,the Mk3 golf lifters from the boot.

I don't think the MK3 G has bonnet lifters

What else do you need beside the lifters?any adaptors?screws?

Have you felt weight of bonnet, try lifting it from hinge they need to be really strong

Thought it would be that. I just lent on them with all my weight and they didn't budge.

I'll fit them later and see. Sure they will be fine

well they are fitted and seem alright so far however due to having to bend the ends it creates a notch when first opening or on thne final bit of closing. i have the minimal amount bend on the arm possible

yea they worked find however i removed them. just didnt feel right and were starting to bend the wing.

That's why I won't buy a set, the top of the wing were never designed to take the weight the struts puts on them
