Looking for a tablet / ereader

Featured Replies

Looking for the above for the boss. She can't read my kindle due to her dislexia so has to be backlit so thin a colour screen is a must. She isn't that fussed on spending a fortune so whats available in the sub £200 price bracket that's any good. Something like the kobo colourscren one

Kobo colour is rubbish (unlike their mono ones). How about the Google nexus 7?

hi thanks for your information.................

In the absence of the Kindle Fire making it over here the Nexus seems like a decent bet.

Avoid any of the really cheap android tablets as they are all hateful pieces of crap

codes on nexus expired except £10 off

Another vote for the nexus from me. I'm an apple fanboi but I've looked at one of these that a friend bought and it's a very nice looking bit of kit with a lot of good functionality. As it's google, you'll also get the Android updates as and when they're released.

Sounds like the nexus is something to look at and also been recommended a samsung galaxy tab

You could look at a 16g Blackberry playbook as they have dropped price again and the spec is good.

Refurbished iPad?

Possibly still a bit out of budget
