MDI extension lead for cubby box?

Featured Replies

I've had a look at can't find this information.

I have an MDI to fit (2013 Superb) but it doesn't have the extension lead for the cubby box that comes with the factory install. Anyone have a part number? or even better, a source to get one at a sensible price?

There are 4 different leads;

AZO 800 001 - iPod (male) to MDI

AZO 800 002 - USB (female) to MDI

AZO 800 003 - mini USB (male) to MDI

AZO 800 004 - 3.5 stereo jack (male) to MDI

I just googled Skoda MDI to USB adapter and got one (marked Audi - same thing) for around a tenner from an Eeebuygum vendor. I no longer have that particular link.

If you google VW you'll maybe get more results but as I understand it all VAG adapters are the same within the model years.

Pay attention to the model year info however, as they may have changed over time.

My MY 2013 Superb (with factory fit MDI) came with a '001' supplied. Pity I haven't got an iPod

Thanks, but that's not the bit I meant. On the Superb, the MDI box is hidden under the console. Those leads normally plug directly into the MDI but in the superb they can't so theres an extension lead. One end plugs into the MDI, the other pokes through into the cubby box. The leads you have mentioned then plug into this extension, the other end going to ipod / USB or whatever.

Sorry I wasn't clear, hope it makes sense now. I have seen them as part of kits (but only with a few, expensive kits) but never on their own.

That's him. Many thanks. I've done lots of searching, even on their site, and not found it.
