I've got a 2002 octavia ambiente 1.9TDi (90bhp).

Since I bought the car used, the air-con light comes on when you press the switch, but the revs don't drop & no cold air comes out.

Any ideas?

When did it last get recharged?

Admittedly this was in a Fabia but apparently i had a loose wire behind the fuses when the Skoda dealer checked out why my aircon wasn't working after a recharge!!

Low refrigerant

Broken compressor and/or clutch

Faulty TX valve

Faulty pressure switch

Wiring fault

Leak
