My drivers side window has just started playing up ! - I thought it wasnt quite closing properly as I could hear wind noise at the top of the window and when I lowered it then raised it again it got nearly all the way up then reversed direction and went down again !!! Then I woke up this morning to find it half way down and the inside of the car soaking wet where the rain had got in, so I am thinking as the others are OK it might be a faulty motor ?

Anyone else had this and is it covered by warranty ?? Mines almost 2 years old (Oct).

I have read a thread on here before about windows, have a look in the hand book as there is a reset by using your key and locking and unlocking the doors or making the windows open and close from the key.

I am sure somebody will post the link to the old thread.

I would say this is definitely a warranty issue. I think the key issues opened all of the windows.

Hmmm thanks james but mine was happening first when I was driving I could hear wind noise at the top of the window so when I opened it and closed it, about half way back up it automatically went back down again and its just the drivers window. Then as I said I came out this morning to find it half way down and soaking wet inside. have managed to get it to close fully now and have just left it to see what happens next.

Normal problem.

The car just needs resetting.

Easy job.

with the ignition on hold the window switch up for about 5-10 seconds.

Job done.
