Was going to say can you not just use plastic primer, then halfrauds black and gloss rattle cans?

Tried the above - always ends up flaking off due to the fact the plastic bends when removed/refitted. Really has to be made from the correct coloured plastic in the first place. I'd love a diamond silver one.

I'm another testimony to failed plastic spraying.

Over time it flakes with flex.

I'm a big fan of this mod.

Save yourself £5 and spray it with black plasticote.

You can get flexible paint too!

Even all the flexi paint flakes on them :(

I originally painted mine with plasticote and it was fine.. Until I used it!

These are made of black plastic so won't flake and are identical to the original.

Yeh it's the flexi paint that I used that flaked.

Brads what is the price for both coolant and washer fluid caps together? And is there a possibility of hunting down a likewise black dipstick?

I can't get the dipstick tube at the moment but looking into it.

Add the coolant cap to mine. Better value I think than the washer cap which at £15 isn't really great value for money. However, I hate having the blue there, so I'm prepared to spend it.

The black screen wash cap would look good with either the R8 oil and coolant caps or the Forge ones.

Nope, not metallic/ali, actually colour coded to the paintwork.

Hate to put a spanner in the works but havent you heard you can dye plastics????

£4 rit dye, 1 pan, 1 stove, boiling water and hey presto black washer cap. The R/C boys dye all their plastics, google it.

Already have the black OEM coolant tank cap, bought from Awesome GTI. How much are the windscreen washer bottle caps? £15? Bit dear if so. Sod it il take one let me know payment details bud.

Your Right... they look like the same caps too to be honest! I was not doing this to make any money! They were being offered to me for a box of 10 for £130 so £13 + 2 P&P
