Cruise control

Featured Replies

Does anyone know if its possible to retro fit cruise control and if so how easy it is???

Yeah it's possible and fairly easy from what i've read on here...

Can't be done to all of them, but more can be done than can't.

But even the main dealer will retro fit it for around the £200

mark. Quite a few threads on the subject.

Mine was factory fitted but I wouldn't be without it.

Certainly can to a vRS, they normally have the required 6Q0 or 6Q1 control unit.

I charge £160 fitted for example, some are cheaper, some more. Some dealers just won't touch them for whatever reason.

I have also refitted quite a few kits where people have fitted substandard parts or tried to fit it and come unstuck.

Ross (Techie) is the man for this ;)

You don't come up near Preston do you? This is a great price!

Not if I can avoid it. Lol ;)

Haha don't blame you! No probs! Worth a try :)

Techie - where are you based? Wiltshire here and interested :)

Just outside Worcester.

Slightly off topic but sort of on as well.

Ross, assuming cruise isn't standard on the 8p S3 can you help with that

at all?

Not sure on the newest Audis mate tbh. But I'd would have thought it is.

Fair enough I know you're a Skoda guru. B)

But assuming I bought one without and wanted it adding?

Would that be something you could do?
