I was wondering what the best tyre size was for 17" spiders on the fabia.

Seen a few variations 225, 215, 205. As I don't want too much stretch?

I think they need to be 40 profile so as not to look like tractor tyres!

Any suggestions?

I had my fabia decked, on 215/40/17 because I didn't want any stretch at all. No rubbing/catching for me.

Mine too, I'm running 215/40 on coil overs, no rubbing.

Ah yeah, is the 205 a bit too stretch? Want a little protection for the rims too.

205 is what is fitted as standard. Seems to be fine to me.

No kerbed alloy on my last car running 215 but a couple running 205 on my Furby :(

Haha, I just prefer it to look full of sidewall on the spiders, not a tyre for stretch rubber imo

205 is hardly a stretch, it's the standard size. Those 195/40 that were on Gary's comps were a stretch..lol
