VRS Test Drive

Featured Replies

Hi y'all!

Very new to this (Active member as of... 3 minutes!) I've been searching for a new car for some time and a couple of weeks ago took to the fore courts looking for my next ride. I went to VW, Honda and even checked out some Audi A3. After not really being impressed by much my dad said we should go for a look at Skoda to which I did something really 'snobbish' I turned my nose up at them.

We did eventually go to Skoda where I was taken by the Fabia Monte Carlo after sitting in it I got a huge interest in it. We spoke to the sales man and sorted out a few details which I took away to review. Flicking through the brochure I saw this Fabia VRS and basically I the spent 10 hours of my Saturday night trolling the internet looking at everything on this and watching countless youtube videos.

I called the salesman back and told him i was very interested in the Fabia... but only the VRS and asked him to organise a test drive. I have been waiting for 4 days now for a call back as they didn't have one there. The wait is killing me for a test drive in this beast of a car and the temptation is great just to purchase one without even a test!

Anyway that's my story ;-)

Hello and welcome! :hi:

The vRS is a cracking little hot hatch, drove a few when i used to work for skoda  . But in my own opinion the monte carlo is better looking

Definately test drive before you buy, maybe try some other dealers to see they got one on site

Enjoy

Hello and welcome to Briskoda, I too prefer the look of the Monte Carlo, it could be lower though , take a test drive in both, the vRS has a cracking engine but DSG gearbox is an acquired taste, ( I hate it) check out Emanuel`s thread ,a good read and shows you do not need to spend a fortune for a cracking car . http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/223753-32kofdata-fabia-sport-mkii/

Hi and welcome aboard.

Hello there TheGreatJones and welcome along

My advice; don't wait for the dealer to ring you back as the likely hood is that they never will, look at your next nearest dealer and so on until you find one that you can test drive.
