Agree'd the arch gap at the back looks similar to mine in the top pic, front does look lower though ill admit.

tinting the lights and darkening the grill cost me the grand total of £16 including postage for the vinyl and the lamin-x type tint.

Yup its legal.

I have OSRAM Nightbreakers in as my dipped bulbs and it makes no difference to the performance.

I had both lights tinted in about 30-45 mins and TBH i could have been more carefull and made a neater job... but I didn't and it looks fine

Vinyl wrap on the grill was trickier, but over all faster than spraying with no prep involved

I'm awful at these type of things but I'll have to have a stab lol
