Hi all, after a year of looking and lots of questions to you guys finally pick up my Superb2 today, with all your help I finally found a 58 plate 2.0Tdi cr 170 4x4 elegance with 70K on it, sad goodbye to my old Superb1 that I had for 4 1/2 years, by far the longest I have ever had a car and also by far the best car I have ever, im sure and I hope this new car will be just as good.

Cheers all

Congratulations - am sure you'll enjoy your Superb.

I switched to a Superb2 estate from an Audi A4 V6 2.7TDI and the Superb is just as quiet, if not quite as smooth, but what makes the car a winner for me is the thought that has gone into it. Little things like the hook to hold up the boot floor, the glasses box, the small net in the passenger footwell, the detachable torch in the boot etc. etc. And you get get many more toys on the Elegance than I could for similar money on my Audi. I love the auto lights and the Columbus is great (so far, fingers crossed I haven't got a duff one!).

Enjoy!

Welcome aboard, hope you enjoy it. I've come from several years of owning BMW's and VW's. I still can't believe the value and build quality of this car compared to the BMW's I've owned.

If you need help with upgrading maps or software on the Columbus, I have just spent hours sorting it all out and I think I have most of the answers, but most certainly the cheapest answers.

I'm not sure what newer map and/or software versions can do for me, which is obviously the first criteria in deciding whether I want them! Don't entirely know how to find out what versions I'm running now either

Can you help me with the Columbus in my 2009 Superb Elegance please, it only has the ability to accept 5 digit postcodes, I need 7 digit version. No menu in setup, don't know which version. Pulling my hair out if I had any. :wall:
