It had to happen

Featured Replies

Today on my way home I saw a Yeti for sale on a Arfur Daley type car lot (well probably a little better than A.D's). This is the first one I've seen outside dealer premises. It was a 59 (so early) reg dark blue one, which model couldn't see and had a price of £15990 on the screen.

As there is only one Skoda dealer in the area and the car had a local reg I assume the owner must have deserted!

Well spotted Andy, he may have upgraded to a newer model

Or it could be high miles/poor condition or very likely bought as an ex lease at the auctions.

or very likely bought as an ex lease at the auctions.

That's what I'd have thought.

Either that or part exchanged at another brand of car dealer. Spotted the Mrs' old micra for sale in one of these places -we part exchanged it for the Citigo.

Update, the Yeti is a TDI CR, 59reg with 10,000 miles on the clock. They are asking £15995 for it. It is a manual and says it has satnav.

I saw one about a year ago on a 59 plate at a local non franchise dealer.

I bought mine through a Land Rover dealership - the previous owner had traded it in for a new Freelander apparently. I managed to get in before the Skoda dealership in the franchise snapped it up, to test drive and then buy the car. Before you ask, my brother works in the franchise so got me a good deal on the car, and helped bag it before Skoda did :)

There are often Yeti's for sale at a village garage near me, Bramham, I think they get them from D. M. Keiths main dealer, usually very expensive though.
