Featured Replies

I had a fuse go the other day one of the little 10a ones, since then the locking on the boot lid dosnt work it dosnt work off the button inside the car either. When i press the button for the boot on the key fob the car indercators flash like they should but nothing happens.Ive tried the holding the button pressed for 30 seconds but nothing changes. When the car is open and i press the boot button on fob just lights flash but when car is locked and i press the button on the fob it just double locks the car instead????? any ideas??? Its on a 53 skoda superb 1.9 tdi...

That would suggest that the boot release solenoid has an issue, you should be able to manually release the boot to get to the lock.

May be a water ingress.
