Is your MKII VRS faster than a 911?

Featured Replies

Only if you're the driver of the police VRS that appeared out of nowhere around lunchtime today in 3rd lane of the A1 at the Yaxley turn off near Peterborough The driver of the black 911, soft top down, who had zipped past traffic which was sitting around 70-75 was probably thinking "should've checked my mirrors" as he was sat on the hard shoulder a few minutes later.

I've watched episodes of Traffic Cops where a Mk1 Octy vRS got away from a police Volvo (the excuse was that it was a rally car) and a Mk2 did twice and they only got caught finally because they took a wrong turn into a dead end.

911 driver might have been distracted by admiring himself in the mirror . . .

Meh!! Traffic cops should arm themselves with a 2.0l fabia B)

Mustang slayer I tell ya.

I remeber watching a cop show on telly about 7 years ago, when a copper in perthshire chased a porsche down in a transit and cought the lad. Bet he told his cell mate it was a unmaked escort cossie that cought him lol.
