Pictures of FL VRS Estate in Steel Grey Please

Featured Replies

Just wondering if anyone had a picture of an FL VRS Estate in steel grey?

I currently have the equivalent car in Blue (having already owned a silver one previous to that) but recently ordered a new one in Steel Grey. I am just a little undecided on the colour in the absence of being able to see one in the flesh so to speak.

I have trawled the internet (rather unsuccessfully) given that the colour option has only recently been included.

Any help on the matter would be appreciated

Have a ganders on Autotrader. There's a steel grey estate being sold at Heyselden Skoda. It looks a bit too subtle for me, but each to their own.

Just ordered myself a vRS hatch in steel grey... saw an estate version in a dealers in Burntwood recently and its a really nice shade. It looks pretty subtle from a distance but close up theres a nice blue / purple tint in the grey which under light / sun really lifts the colour.

It's certainly a change from white ;)

I did want a dark coloured car after the Leon i have at the moment (Nayara (light) blue) but other than silver i'm not keen on the other colours in the range for the vRS so plumbed for the new grey shade :D

Found this... http://www.skoda.net...x?id=602463710#

Its the best pic i could find online of a car at a dealers... being inside under lights it shows off the colour better than the others which are outside in rubbish lighting ;)

So for the vRS have they now changed from Anthracite to Steel Grey then? Or has the grey available to the vRS always been called Steel Grey?

Was going to point in the direction of Carl's vRS wagon, but then I'm unsure if that's the colour we're talking about!

Anthracite was first introduced with the Mk2 Special Editions. It was then carried over to the Mk2.5

Steel Grey was introduced a year ago, so you can get your vRS in either Anthracite or Steel.

I've got Anthracite and I'm pleased with it. The Steel has tinges of "blue" in certain light.

I got my car in steel grey and i love the colour, very metalicy (is that a word?) in the sun light.

I noticed that anthracite has gone from the skoda configurator, not sure if that means it is no longer available.

Here's an estate, but not a good reflection of the colour http://www.skoda.net.r66.co.uk/carview.aspx?id=602538822

I've got a steel grey hatch, you should try to see one in the flesh, as pictures of this colour don't show it off very well. It is made up almost compltely of metallic flake, which is why it looks so good in the flesh but doesn't photograph that well. It is also appears far more glossy than other colours, no idea why.

OK, makes sense. Yes, noticed Anthracite was no longer a vRS colour, which made me ask the question.

Thanks for the above... so glad i chose this colour ;)
