Garage Service

Featured Replies

Hi another question from me.

I am going to put my 2.5 v6 TDI into a garage to get her serviced approx 90k miles now.

Has any one got any idea where I would find out what would be done on that service if I were to take it to a Skoda garage?

Have you just tried asking your local Skoda garage?

Yea have tried that but my local skoda garage are less than helpfull ;(

Really, a Skoda dealer not being helpful you say ...... wish I could say it was the first time I've heard that. I did have service schedules info somewhere. If nobody else comes back with a decent answer mate I'll see if I can track them down before the weekend.

Drop me a pm with your email address.

If you take it to the dealer in Newport ,They always give it a good clean/valet .

Yea fair enough But I don't want to take a mortgage out to get the oil and filters changed as to be fair that is all they will really do.

Any way sorted now

A minor service at Newport should cost £139 according to their Fixed Price Servicing schedule booklet (VW every 12 months or 10k) that includes oil and filter, pollen filter if required and a full inspection.

They also road test and wash and vac your car.

Give them a ring I have found them to be very good. Have a look on the dealer section about them.
