Was thinking of keeping the mk1 and passing to the missus

Featured Replies

(and of course keeping the emerging classic vrs1 for my own amusement too)...and getting an Octy vRS or 2.0 TDi 140 (given the vat free)

However my experience of the dealers today kinda shook me wanting to do that, or maybe buying one from them at least?

Took them 5 1/2 hrs to do an interim service and a MOT ? Is this exceptional do you think ??

Would have picked her up but really didn't expect it to be much more than a few hours which was also the verbal approximate expectation we had (edit: so we waited)

Not the first time we have been left waiting/guessing at the dealers which leaves a lot to be desired, and just reinforces going elsewhere for servicing in the future (or buying a diff car ?)

If it wasn't under warranty / requiring early dealer stamps on her car ( a MKII) I think I might just have done that.

Now as mine isn't exactly run down yet the urge has somewhat been diminished and wondering if I really need to do it at all.
