So in a earlier post, I wrote that my car had some weird starting issues..

In the last day or so the coil lights started flashing and the EML light came on.. with a fault code for the engine speed sensor..

Could someone advise me if VCDS is pointing my on the right spot?

And also if anyone has changed this sensor and where its located?

The crank sensor is behind the oil cooler on the front edge of the block. The fly lead on it comes up behind the oil filter.
