Cruise control problems

Would you know what pin location is on the ecu?

Pin 14, its the only plain white wire.

(its in the fitting instructions already posted above).

So where does each colour go only bit I'm getting confused with. Thanks

That's not the correct kit for a Fabia.

That's the part number I got fro here and box has same number too. Will it still work?

Myself and Stu wrote those fitting instructions on Fabia-vRS.com 13 or so years ago. Thinks have moved on a bit now and the kit is a lot easier to buy.

This is the kit I bought and will return if I ever get it because finding the pin outs is impossible.

Not sure what you mean?

All I got with the kit I bought was literally ONE plug and a bunch of wires whereas the genuine loom appears to have 3 plugs on it.

The correct kit for the Fabia should have three plugs on it.

Exactly. It's a non genuine one that requires you make all the terminations yourself, hence why it was so cheap! Not a happy customer!

Lesson learned I guess.

Full kit is less than £70 from Skoda and guaranteed to work, don't see the point in cutting corners myself.

Gonna be a sad day when the kits run out, done way over 100 installs over the last 10 years.

Hello People,

Been fitting cruise control to a friends 2004 Fabia VRS today with the loom BEA400002 and stalk which I hve fitted, I'm I correct for thinking that the only white wire on the loom that goes to T11a can get extended and wired directly to the ECU location pin 14 on the bigger plug.

Any Help would be great thanks

Dan

That's correct
