Hi, did you manage to pair using rsap or hfc

Before a software upgrade I used hfc, post upgrade it connects via rsap. I've tried changing phone mode with no joy.

I prefer hfc as I want to stream music from spotify over Bluetooth. I need a data connection for spotify

I had no problems connecting my S3. Was a little scared at first reading about it here. Turned on the Bluetooth and it paired right away.

My wife's iPhone 4S connected without problems, but needed a little more coaxing for Bluetooth media.

Not sure what software I have or how its connecting. I have the Bolero.

I have noticed the same with my S3, however I don't know how to change the phone mode, to have phone connect in rsap everytime (even if it means entering the pin each time key is removed from ignition ), as in this mode, i can read text messages on my columbus, and with hfp, i can't.

any ideas ?

In the Maxidot, you can select Phone, Settings, and then choose either Advanced or HFC (well, you can on my MY12!).

You cant do that on my 2011with maxi dot, unfortunately the s3 into let you change modes, you can on BlackBerry devices.

I have a Samsung S2 and have been having issues getting my phone to connect via the bluetooth, anyone got any ideas whether its the software/apps on my phone bolcking it or settings on the car?

I think your car only supports RSAP. Try to get Android 4.0.4 your phone as it has RSAP whereas 4.0.3 didn't, and Android 3 never connected to my car reliably with a pass code enabled on the phone.

I got the update on my SGS2 through Samsung Kies and now it connects to the car perfectly every time.
