Fabia 2006 : Options to replace factory fit Symphony unit

REUBEND

Recommended Posts

Just purchased a 2006 Fabia Elegance with Symphony audio.

Replacing with non-factory unit involves replacing the facia plate and it all seems to be getting very expensive

and just a little bit complicated.

Can anybody help and guide me please ?

Expensive?

Erm, the fascia plate costs £3 from a dealer. Depending on your headunit, you might require an aerial booster - shouldn't be more than £5.

That's all you need, apart from your new head unit obviously.

Thank you for the help. Sorry for the delay in replyng,I'm not sure how these forums work and therefore couldn't find my way back to my query.

I had a suitable telling off from my brother about being rude, so once again sorry to everyone.

Stereo sorted now with miminal fuss and looks good and sounds good. Just have to learn how to drive the stereo now !

Halfords were quoting £52 for the facia plate.
