Can someone help understand what is the below problme. I do see that the fuel niddle does goes down to zero and after sometime, returnes back to normal:

There's no problem with the fuel pump. Either the sender for the fuel gauge display is faulty or there is a bad connection. The sender clips into the fuel delivery unit and is available as a seperate part.

Isn't this car still under warranty?

It is under warranty. I left my car for 5 day with the service station and they are clueless. They are waiting for inputs from Skoda Auto India and their response is disappointing.
