Soon to be Fabia VRS estate owner.

Featured Replies

Hello all,

I shall be picking up a new 62 plate Fabia VRS estate on Sep 02, and I'm very excited.

Here's a quick question I'm hoping someone might answer for me. Do all new Fabia VRS now come with the black pack as standard?

Thanks,

Gareth

yes all the new ones are black pack..

enjoy your new car... I'd advise to drive it "normally" from day one, don't baby it ;) keep an eye on the oil level. pics please when you get it :)

Thank you Sir,

I thought so, it seems Skoda haven't updated their promo pics on their website, the VRS's are still pictured with Chrome grill surround.

When you say don't baby it do you mean don't be afraid to put your foot down? I will definitely keep an eye on the oil level.

Also whilst I have you, would you recommend one of the TMC tuning boxes?

Yes tmc box if you what or remap up to you, ivr got a hatchack but wanting an estate with black roof which can be found in options list i think

Thats because that would be my car in the pictures :D

yes, dont be afraid to put your foot down and rev it.....

there's a debate about TMC vs remap.... remap is generally considered to be better... but personally I don't want my ECU cracking open..

a TMC box may be on my shopping list in the future. ;) both work well, but can generate misfires, resulting in a hunt for better plugs. lots of info on it in here.

Thanks for all the info chaps. I will do a bit more research on the TMC boxes.

Well any queations you have ask away or search because more then 1 of use use tmc boxs and i dont think a single 1 has had problems other then a plug coming loose, which if clicked in to place shouldnt really happen
