I have been told that the redline on the pd vrs is lower than the cr vrs diesel engine. So am I right in thinking that I am never going anywhere near the redline on mine as its a pre fl vrs with the cr engine and still using the pd redline rev counter. I don't push it that far anyway as its not worth it being a diesel, any comments welcome.

Power ( torque ) will drop off at 4300 anyway so no point going anywhere near it . Even I do not go over 4750 in my mapped petrol, just change a gear for more shove
