Finaly bit the bullet and got one.

The L&K's just seemed to be fetching too much money and not many about so when this came along at the time the old car had an issue it felt like the time to change

Storm Blue, Elegance 1.9 PD DSG hatch 29k 2008/08 so just over 4 years. according to the build list nothing extra

2 variable services(16k, 27k), cam belt and DSG oil changes this year, so hopefully 4 years before anything big comes up with a variable service in between.

Loving the DSG and climate, should be doing a long run upto Norwich in Sept.

Will try to sort out some pics but you all know what a blue octavia elegance looks like.

The old banger has been a time bomb for a couple of years now and as expected it broke down a couple of weeks ago, so has been sent to the scrappers, after 12 years of good service, could have ebayed or broke or even fixed and kept till the next thing went wrong, but decided to have the easy life with some comfort for a change and just get shot, £135 no hastle.
