Anyone had an offer to extend their 3 year warranty yet.

Featured Replies

Following maybe of interest:

Rang Skoda UK Customer Care to enquire about extending warranty (not the one you purchase on

initial car order).

Asked if I was talking to an official Skoda UK employee (M Keynes)? Reply "Yes but I work in Leeds"

The gist of conversation was the only official Skoda product is the one purchased on first car order.

The other option is to ring 08445738000 and talk direct with Car Care Plan (not a Skoda company,

but an associate/partner who know how we work whatever that means.). The cover they offer includes RAC to the same level as the Skoda 3 year deal (needs confirming in the small print I expect).

Asked about cost and was told "you will have to talk to them direct".

So it appears from above if you can believe it (can you?) UK DEALERS are not offering an official

product as it doesn't exist!

Maybe that's why we get different stories/prices on this forum.

BUT HEAR COMES THE GOOD NEWS!! (If you can believe it LOL).

They are bringing out an official Skoda version of the extended warranty for purchasers who

didn't buy on first purchase. No details available as to when.

When asked why Dealer information is so confusing response was "it's up to them what they offer".

Just repeating what I was told so don't rely completely on this posting.

Explains the run around I got from our Dealer (previous posting).

They make great Dealers too. (LOL!!!)

A 5 year warranty+roadside assistance was being offered by Skoda Australia when I bought my Yeti. Unfortunately it took nearly six months to get it. I phoned, emailed and visited the dealership a number of times in my effort to get this extended warranty. By the way the 3 year warranty arrived about 4 weeks after taking delivery of the Yeti. Apparently the dealership never provided the necessary details to Skoda Oz, which makes me think that the cost of the extended warranty, about A$1200 came out of the salesman's pocket. What can I say?
