Hi everyone.

I have just picked up an Octavia 2007 mk2 estate l&k, very impressed so far and looking forward to many Years ownership.

Could anyone shed any light on the maxi dot display? I only have 3 options available when pressing the rocker switch on the stalk. I have MFD, Audio and Setup.

I thought I should see at least one other option as Vehicle Status?

I have searched the forum and can't find any info . Any help on the matter appreciated.

I think you'll only see Vehicle Status when a "warning" is active?, Refuel will activate it if you want to see it And when you fit a Columbus and Bluetooth you'll get Navigation and Phone

I didn't think the pre-FL could have the navigation instructions displayed or phone dialling on the Maxidot?

That's some of the reasons for me not adding it to my '07 estate...

If the car has a Maxidot then you can have

Navigation

Phone

Polar FIS add-on

Settings >

Lights and Vision = If Highend CECM is fitted

Convenience = If Highend CCM fitted

I have an 08 L&K Estate with maxidot, had the same options originally as the OP but have now fitted a Columbus & BT and have both Navigation and Phone menu's available.

Both very useful, the Nav displays direction arrows etc on the maxidot and the phone displays txt messages, phonebook etc..

Oh yes it can ......

My 2006 L&K has MFD, Audio, Navigation, Phone, Convenience, Lights & Vision, Vehicle Status (which is always there) etc etc

The search for a suitable Maxidot and dealer to fit us back on then...

Ben@Shark can fit, Skodateile seem to be the preferred supplier but their webshop is currently closed - which has happened before apparently
