A little more noise

Featured Replies

Having had my last two cars both with milltek turbo back exhausts the fabia vrs seems a little quiet under hard acceleration. From my past experience of milltek they seem to offer the best of both worlds, quiet at cruising speed but noise when booting it. Problem is it is expensive and with saving for a house it's off the list at the moment but it did get me thinking about a cheap alternative, the cheapest I think removing the centre box.

Vid I found on YouTube

I know a few people on here have done it already and my question is what's it like in cabin at 70mph does it drown?

My cabin drone wasnt to bad to start with but recently the whole exhaust seems to have got louder and the drone has got fairly bad but as soon as you turn the radio in its gone :)

Sounded absloutly mental when it was mapped aswell

This was on my list to get done "at some point"

theres my video from ages ago

That's mine :) quiet when its cruising but louder when giving it some. I didn't want a constant drone and I'm happy with it

This is vrs powered"s awesome sounding machine!

Stu_mcl what exhaust have you got?

Standered with the center pipe replaced with a straight through piece of pipe

Wow so just a full standard cat but just a straight centre pipe? Very nice!

Yup totaly standered, sounds a bit dodgy upon a cold start occasonally but other than that its good :D

A powerflow dealer will be able to do it for about £60-80
