There was already a thread running with my name on, but I won't know if I am going until closer to the time due to finances being stretched during September trips away.

The idea of £20 sounds interesting, and my nitrous bottle probably should be emptied soon as its been full for a LONG time.

the only bit we all need to work out is where to meet before hand and then all convo in together ;-)

It shouldn't be too late to ask for a little area to set aside as your stand. Its never that busy so usually able to park together anyway, even if arriving at different times. If you're going to meet somewhere on the approach road is best, before you turn left to go in the entrance to pay.

The couple of times I've been it's neve been busy outside the 1/4 mile.

Oh and another thing would be be able to go up the strip aswell as he recently went a Mini show there and they wouldnt let him as it was mini's only?

yes you can bring your mate with tt supra but im not sure he can run will check as my mate wants to run in his scooby so will ring them tomoz !!!

I would say most southern people could meet at services of M40/A43, and go from there, then meet rest at the Tesco's at Wellingborough. Just a thought. Then I could go ahead at start and get Pics of everyone one by one as go past.

I've seen a few non VAG run at the GTI show. Really, if you want a mixed bag you need to go to a RWYB - The GTI show is just that - themed toward the VW group.

most will be vag so its not a problem ;-)

Personally I don't see why they'd let non-VAG cars run.

It just encourages more non-VAG motors to turn up and run at a VAG event.

There are enough shows open to all makes.

Was the same at the Classic Ford show, you had a 900bhp GT-R blasting down the 1/4 mile ?!?!?

^^^ exactly what Richard said. The show is a VAG themed show. I know at the American car show, they won't let any other type of car down the 1/4 mile.

reason is because alot of friends that go to shows dont all drive the same cars and so happens that this date we can all get together but it not a prob if he cant run he can run mine ;-)
