4 pot calipers for fabia rs

Featured Replies

Looking for set of 4 pot calipers for front of a rs fabia anyone know where to get them r have anything???

From a Leon cupra r

As Matt said above Cupra R or go down the route of AP racing calipers and alloy bells which I'm planning on early next year

Brembos need alloys that will clear them and 15mm spacers so add them to your shopping list.

Cheers lads

Ive been told the AP callipers with 330mm discs im after will clear just under 16's just need to find out lol

Can't see 330mm fitting under 16s tbh, 312mm are close enough.

Yeah I thought that tbh, I'm not fussed if they don't really as I'm planning on going upto 17's anyway. It's just the calliper we/I was looking at is a slimline type one and was told it might fit under a 16inch wheel

The cupra r brakes dont fit under the standard 16's. Looked into it myself as I can get some cheap. Looking at some 17's with a pretty decent offset.

Cupra R brakes fit under S3 and TT rims with no spacers and both types of Leon R wheel obviously.

My old Fabia...

Just see the Brembos peeking.

Also fit under my TD pro race 3`s nicely. I`v got my eye on another set of wheels though, not sure if they`ll go over the calipers :wall:

I'm not looking at the Cupra R brake setup, I'm looking at AP Racing caliper's with custom made brackets to fit

Look at ibiza cupra ap 4 pots, straight fit then. Just need wheels to clear, all I've seen in 16 over them

Was Porsche d9's I think.

AP calipers use 312mm discs. I'd stick with the Leon Cupra R brembos - there's a much bigger choice of wheels that fit over them than the AP's

I'm referring to AP racing aftermarket Calipers with custom made brackets and alloy bells to suit.

Ah, sorry :)

No worries buddy just thought I'd clear it up so there is no confusion ;)

Autosports in Australia was running 304mm 6 pots from D2 and rated them pretty well

Not sure how hard they would be to source in the UK

Details from project:

SPD Automotive in Leyland will be your best bet, they deal with a lot of D2 stuff for Teg's, they even sell fully adjustable coilovers to suit the Polo 6N chassis

Just realised there is 2 different type's of Polo 6n chassis, these won't be the one's to fit the Fabia will they?

EDIT again:- Spotted the fabia Suspension section now http://www.japshop.co.uk/acatalog/SKODA-D2-RACING-SHOP.html

Anyone try using wilwood calipers on the front of a mk 1 fabia and If so what fitment was used and are they a good brake??

Also look at Ksport. Seems to be some discussion as to whether KSport and D2 are the same thing or based on the same kits/parts.
