Oem part numbers for TFSI (BWA)

Featured Replies

Hi All

Thinking it is time to change my PCV valve to a newer revision, but what OEM numbers do I need?

My engine is a BWA engine (TFSI), and I have been looking at this kit: http://www.ecstuning.com/Volkswagen-Golf_V--2.0T/Engine/Emissions/ES8209/

Will it fit my engine?

Perhaps someone has a link to a european shop or the numbers for the BWA engine so I can just order them locally.

Thanks in advance!

The one you've linked to is the type "P" revision, which is for the later TFSIs, you might need the earlier type "N". VAG Part numbers for both below:

06F 129 101 N

06F 129 101 P

I'm not sure how you'll tell which one you'll need other than by looking at the one you currently have installed. Maybe your local dealer can tell you if you give them your car details.

More info in my post here: http://www.briskoda....n/#entry2910742

I replaced mine (Type N, 2006/06 TFSI) a couple of weeks ago and my gasket was fine, so the only thing I replaced was the valve itself.

Thanks.

I think I will take the numbers from what I have now, and order the latest and greatest from the dealer - then they must sort out the revision, right?

Well you'd think so, but if your dealers over there are anything like ours...

 I must admit I have been lucky with them always. Come to think of it... My Skoda parts from them have always fitted directly...
