OSF headlight letting in water

Featured Replies

I have had the back off the headlight recently and drained the water out left the cover off so that the remaining water could evaporate then refitted the cover.

Does the classic have headlight washers as they have the chrome section in the middle bottom area, if not what is the best way to stop water entering the headlight without having to buy a new one, also I believe that the bumper has to come off to remove the headlight

The chrome peice is just a blanking plate where the washer unit would go. I believe you only have the washer jet on the xeon light units.

Take bumper out, remove the head lamp cluster. Check it for damage / cracked case. If not from this point you can unclip the lense cover and dry the lot out indoors.

You can unclip the lense? I thought it was glued on? Mine have misted up & there's alot of staining on the inside of the light off the water, if it uncliped & cleaned it would be so much easier :)
