These should be legal to display on your car, as they (supposedly) have BS markings. Question mark must hang over the SUPPLY of these, as it is a London (i.e.UK) supplier, who is not asking for copies of V5 etc. it is now a legal requirement for suppliers to be regsistered and certain documentation checked and retained when supplying plates.

Cheers mike, but I've currently got plates on the car supplied by 'new reg' and have had no issues with mot's

They obviously never asked for V5 or anything, as they supplied the plates when I bought the reg number

I had pressed plates on an old octy and used dubmeister: http://www.dubmeister.co.uk/

TBH I wouldnt use anyone else. I know they arent the cheapest but the quality and legality are not in any question.

I had to send my V5 to get plates made up.

So where it says "Characters on a number plate can be 3D, providing they meet all the other requirements, but honeycomb or other background patterns are not allowed."

Does that mean these are legal ?

I have these on mine. The suppliers registered address is in Dublin. As for legality, I park in a police traffic garage and am a Traffic Officer so yes, they are legal!

I have these on my VRS as well and haven't had any issues.

If they carry the current BSU number printed on them they are legal, if not they are not. I dont see why you would get stopped for them there is nothing wrong with them. Has any one ever seen the plates you could get with the white and yellow backing follows around the letters and numbers instead of macking a rectangle.

I have pressed metal plates and they are far better because when someone steals my car and burns it out they will be able to read the hot plates a lot more easily than trying to locate the vin markings all charred. :p Mine were supplied after obtaining a certificate for them to be made for me in a authorised parts shop place.

I like them a lot more than my old plastic ones a far better system.

Quick question - what kind of surrounds did you get to go with them?

I've been trying to decide whether to get another set from them but wasn't sure how they'd look on the vrs with surrounds :\

I have a pair. Also used Dubmeister
