Fitting JOMs

Featured Replies

Hi people, I'm just wondering what people have put there turns too?? As I want the front and back level and about a finger width I between front and back tyre, pictures would be good.

Some one said all way down on back, and 12 turns left on the front ??

Not sure if this is relevant to you - they may be the same.... I have FK AKs I'm all the way down on the front and about 15 on the rear.

Please ignore my comment if I'm wrong :)

Keep that in mind

I had just fitted joms two weeks ago..and my fronts have around 6 threads still showing (they sit on the 7th thread) and the backs are down so that the top of the adjuster is level to the top of the thread housing? If that makes sense i cant really explain it :S

i have 17 threads up on fronts and 10 on back, tyre is very close to arches but thats on an octy

Il just bung them all on the lowest setting, then adjust upwards to what I need :)

lowest setting will be balls to ride with, i would go half way then not so far to travel down after that, plus adjusting down is alot easier cos of tension. Technically half way should be 55mm drop so i would start there if you want any form of gap or ride comfort. I had mine 3/4 down and the ride just starts to get bouncy
