I'm guilty of that too! Quite satisfying.

Any clues as to what they are? 

They seem to the wheel of choice at the moment

They're audi TT Ronals. Should clear the brakes easily

Will get them refurbished and new tyres before fitting them

I'll get a pic of the brakes and reverse when I have an assistant

New wheels have arrived earlier than expected which is impressive.

Will trial fit one of them at the weekend, then I'll need new tires and a refurb. Not sure which will come first

Bit of a feeler guys, but what would a set of team dynamic pro race 1.2s with kumho track day tires be worth?

Wheels are good condition for their age, no curbing. Tires all have lots of tread, although Blyton Park scrubbed up the fronts a bit (still legal though)

Sadly not. If the brakes go I won't need to look for wheels haha

You need spacers for those wheels / brakes combo?  You know why I am asking fellow D2 brake buddy!

 

Thankfully both sets of track wheels I have clear comfortably with no spacers.  I especially like the TD Pro Race 3.

They're 7j which probably doesn't help with the clearance. What's the offset of your pro race 3s?

I'm not sure on the pro race 3 - I don't think it's a low offset, but the spoke design is very good for brake clearance as they sort of stick out a bit and come back in again as they go to the outside of the rim.

Trial fitted the Ronals. They clear the brakes easy.

Wheel weights however... Hmmm

Dropped them off to be refurbed this morning, can't wait to get them back
