Hybrid pd150 turbo with billet compressor wheel, forge front mount intercooler running 224bhp and 360ft lbs :)

Still averaged over 50mpg driving back from Combe too :)

It wasn't just you that had loosening wheel bolts. Mine were quite loose after the 2nd session.

Your car looked great as usual!

Yes I noticed you had the same problem Joe :( torqued them up correctly that morning too.

Your car certainly seemed to be running well :)

MOT day today...

Failed :( leaking rear shock and broken headlight bracket.

New suspension needed!!

D'oh :(

Well that sucks, hope you get it sorted quick Charlie!

  • Author

Yeah, hopefully be sorted quickly. Spoke to awesome gti and they can get some KW v1s delivered within 2-3 days. Mot expires on the 18th so will get a bit of time to sort it for that and the national :)

Try DPM as well, can't hurt to shop around for the best price.

Don't really have the time tbh

Take 5 minutes buddy and it could save you a good few quid which will be better in the long run. If you have to spend so be it but get the best deal poss IMO.

How long/miles did they last, Charlie?

  • Author

Oh yeah I get that Steve, it's just the delivery time I'm up against sadly.

I've had them over 4 and a half years Jay, and covered almost 60k. Not too bad I guess

Yeah that's not bad going. Il about halfway through then :p

Charlie I have 2 rear shocks from V1's that you can have. They're all good I think.

Car less again. This time chris needed it as someone smashed his rear window!

But while both cars were around we gave them a little clean

I was hoping to have the aircon fully removed and led tail lights repaired in time for the national meet, but looks like they won't be ready in time

Getting anxious! Suspension will be here Thursday!

Should be enough time to fit it, get mot retested Friday ready for Saturday..

Hope you get it sorted in time Charlie!
