Help, leaking sunroof, please help

Featured Replies

1.9 tdi skoda superb 55 plate.

This morning, I had water leaking from the roof, all the seat was wet and a big puddle on the car, driver side.

Had to get to work, quickly cleaned up and drove to work.

I just checked and I pinched the tube, near the door hinge and water began to come gushing out.

However, not sure if it is cured, but how can I ensure that the water drain in the sunroof is clear, please help!

I've had good results previously with an air duster and net curtain wire/cord:

(This was clearing blocked roof drains on a CRX)

Must of cleared it at dinner time. I put a jug of water through the sun roof and it came fusing out

My only concern about using curtain springy stuff is, if you are unlucky or a bit heavy handed, you could push the tube of its adaptor.

Absolutely - easy does it is a hard and fast rule. All too easy to get it wrong if the blockage is severe or bends are too tight to get around.
