1 Fault Found:

01135 - Interior Monitoring Sensors

004 - No Signal/Communication - Intermittent

I am guessing it something to do with the alarm system - a sensor inside the cabin. Anyone know what this might be ?

That module handles 'central' tasks - door-related, alarm etc.

That fault is alarm related. Some more info: http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/01135

I'd be minded to clear that, and see if it comes back. As it's logged as an 'intermittent'.

Phil we cleared that fault code so another scan at some point should tell you if its recent or not.

Wouldnt hurt to clean the sensors anyway.

I've often seen that, I have been told in the past that it may have something to do with performing the scan with the door open.

I see this every now and then as well - I clear it and it doesn't come back for months.

I would only worry if it keeps coming back Phil

Haven't seen that before myself, and Internal Monitoring shouldn't be active with the car unlocked anyway.

Best yes, general 'best practice' to run scans with the doors closed, just to eliminate any potential issues.

Thanks, I will give the sensor a clean. perhaps it will fix itself - just like my rear reversing sensors ! The system started working again today just as I'm waiting for a new sensor to be delivered. Still it will come in handy as a spare or if the fault re-appears.

I'm nearly at the bottom of my "things to sort out list". I'm having the new air con compressor fitted Saturday morning.

Don't say you're at the end of the list! It'll only tempt fate :)

I can guarantee the next time it rains for a few days on the trot the sensor will play up again :-)

Depending on the age there is a modified interior monitoring sensor unit as early ones are prone to failing.

Any idea how much Tech1e? I take it a 2006MY car will have the old one..........

I get this fault about once every couple of months - do you reckon it needs replacing? It always coincides with an 'implausible signal' from the RLS as well.
