Hey guys, Is there away of telling if you have original vag/skoda coil packs? i've had alook at them but there nothing on the top or any stamps..... all i could see was small letters on the side with VMO.

If I unplug the lead does that have anything under it? Its just i wanted to check them before i enquired at skoda about recall replacments.

its on the area where you unplug the wiring connector - the code ends 115 i think

Dropped my mk1 VRS into my local dealers for a service on Monday having just bought the car last week, (didn't want it serviced anywhere else) and was told about the recall, mines a 54reg, all coil packs replaced FOC. happy boy thanks Blade Skoda, Long Ashton
