Hi All,

I know ther eare lots of radio problem posts on here, but i think i have a new one...

Recently the radio display when starting the car would display 'safe' My wife was driving and didnt touch anything. However after a few days of this the radio will not turn on at all. Nothing on the display either.

I have checked the fuses both at the back of the unit and the fusebox and the connections at the back of the unit itself.

It looks like no power is making it to the unit. I tried disconnecting the battery and a quick discharge just in case (the auto terms of switching it off and on again)

Replacing with another unit i gather is a right faff as you need to go to a dealer to get the radio to speak to the car.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Jon
