Just reading in CAR magazine how VW are due to take on the WRC with a Polo R. Basically a lightly re-engineered Fabia S2000...looks good.

They've poached Citroens No2 driver, also a Sebastien, who was fed up of being understudy to Loeb.

They're confident of podium finishes in the first season, but the driver wants to whup Loeb, opinion is he might not get the chance, as Loeb is rumoured to be retiring.

They're producing a Polo R for the road (homologation purposes - do they need to do that still?), so maybe they'll be a Skoda spin off?!?
