3 options on VCDS

1 = DRL on it´s own bulb (or LED)

2 = Fogs as DRL

3= Both

I don't have fogs fitted, just blanks where they should be. If my dealership would fit fogs, could they be rewired to act independently as drl's, i.e. turn on/off automatically with the ignition and not be effected by the side/main light switch?

I like having fogs, by themselves.

Means more light when looking at street signs in the dark, better for the driveway, and... the fog!!

Also can configure cornering fogs via VCDS.

I'd go with DRL on its own.

So now you have on FL models (my ain´t VRS) 3 options via VCDS

1- DRL via normal bulb for it(outside bulb )

2- Foglights only as DRL

3- combination of both on
