Don't know about Polybush stuff, but my Superpro stuff is very nice. Powerflex stuff has had a bit of panning by a lot of people though...

dont joke mate......... i was thinking along those lines :giggle:

To be honest, that's all that may be in it!

To be honest, that's all that may be in it!

For the MK II I compared the super-pro to the polyflex bushes and found the construction of the superpro was more similar to OEM.

For example the rear console bush has a metal outer sleeve like the original when it's the super-pro, but not the powerflex I saw.

I'd go for the superpro as I've not noticed increased harshness, which has to be a good sign.

FWIW the vendor you have wasn't price competitive when I was looking.

I'd have a look around at places such as:

http://www.upratedbushshop.com/product.php/3272/superpro_pack____f_r_front___rear_suspension_bush_kit___kit5210k___octavia_4wd_mk1_98_04

That's a full front and rear kit as an example.

Superpro Lloyd that is all !

poly bush are very good and i can do you a good deal ;-)

This the rite one ?

Just under £200 delivered

Pass, I don't know what you're looking to fit.

I got a similar kit fitted on recommendation of a local mechanic, who said that the rubber OEM ones come back every couple of years, cheap rubber pretty much each year and the super-pro he's not replaced one since he fitted it.

I thought that was a good reason to spend no more than the OEM solid rubber items and get something that will not need replacing again rather than changing regularly.

That's not the right kit for a vRS. Nearly, but not quite. Try looking at Superpro website, and then shop around once you've got the right part no. ARB bushes are a must if you haven't already.

Actually that Polybush kit is wrong for a vRS too. Assuming both photo's are correct...

The kits you have shown seem to have arb droplink bushes for the non-vRS models

Super pro just list this ???

All of those are right, except you don't need the drop linkones SPF2127K or the front dogbone insert SPF2575K and personnel choice on the castor adjusts and the dogbone rear stiffness

Whats the front dogbone insert ?

So is there 3 in them kits that will be left over will there mate

Inserts are for a half mod, it just uprates the oe one, The kits contain all you will need !!

It's just if you want caster and harder dogbone by the looks on the second kit, well I thik you can mix and match

http://www.superpro.eu.com/catalogue/17/skoda-octavia-mki-2wd-1998-_to-2004/kit5133k-rg/running-gear-kit/

That's the one you need.

+ I'd recommend an SPF3366K steering rack bush (can be a bu99er to fit)

and arb bushes if you want to do those; SPF2593-17K if you have removed the sleeves from the anti-roll bar, or SPF2593-19K if the sleeves are still intact. I recommend breaking the sleeves off and fitting the smaller hole bushes (17K) myself, since these WILL fail and get noisy at some point.

I thought the caster correcting bushes were only recommended on the TT arms????

You may very well be right !!

Just a wonder ????

Found a Super pro kit

http://www.awesomegt...07-1998-06-2004

And also a Poly bush kit

http://www.creations...ail.php?pid=225

Whats the difference ?

Is super pro better ?

they are both the right kits as no kit is available specifically for VRS you just pick a Octavia or Golf for correct year. This just means you may get drop link bush and don't fit it. As the full kit saves you more than buying seperately still worth getting the kit.

however on inspection of the part#s in the kit, the pics are what is confusing folks also as are not displaying correct parts in all those pics, i.e you don't get drop link bushes in that kit. super pro is a great price for full kit and has VAT added and for £205.

super pro is better known and if you go buy reviews they are probably top choice. I included myself on that as i have all super pro on chassis and have had others like powerflex which are no where near as good. Poly bush might be ok but not seen any reviews and on our VRS's.

Yes agree powerflex not as good

nope as stated is correct

it is the same as you first link just different seller and price

I thought the caster correcting bushes were only recommended on the TT arms????

They are only for cast wishbones on the LCR/S3/TT or R32 so don't bother unless you have them. I have and they are well worth getting cast wishbones for.

kit KIT5133K in first row is what you need which contains none caster increase bushes)

Kit includes 1 x SPF1915K, 1xSPF2082K, 1xSPF2576K, 1xSPF2577-80K, 1xSPF2481K, 1x SPF3366K\r\n

Cheers dudes :)

Petes just text me the numbers of his box to so i think now its fund raising time :D

Hey all, bit of an old topic I know, but I'm in the same boat looking for new bushes. I need control arm f&r, arb to chassis and the rear beam ones. Oh and the dogbone one. So this kit should take care of that lot.

Then this one to sort out the arb, 17mm with removed sleeves for now.

SuperPro are sounding like the ones to go for, but what can be done about the ARB droplink bushes, as no kit seems to contain vRS specific ones? Do they need doing and are the dealer specific parts?

Ta!

The vRS doesn't have arb droplink bushes. They are mounted direct to the shocks and the hubs, not like the standard Octavia setup at all.
