Bush kits

Featured Replies

Of course :) Are there any bushes where they mount up etc? Or anything else I should be replacing as a matter of course whilst I'm at it?

It's in for 4x shocks and springs and generally a full refresh, so now is the time to do any other bits.

Nope. If you're going for shocks and springs you'll want new bump stops, and you may or may not want top mounts. Standard stuff is fine though.

I'd look closely at the bottom ball joints and arb droplinks though. You don't want to be arseing about with them again in the future if they're questionable. Make sure they free, not perished, and feel notch free when moving.

Hmm, I've got a very annoying knocking from the front right so I'll have them looked at too. I've got a standard set of top mounts and bearings to go on too, but I forgot the bump stops. I'll get them ordered!

Does anyone know if OEM shocks come with the rubber protectors over the piston? Ooo-er!

Fronts don't... not sure about the rears as I have crappy Sachs fitted, which didn't.

Chances are your knocking maybe the ARB drop link.

I'll add a couple of them to the list! Now, any ideas on the massive creak that happens going over speed bumps, but disappears when it rains? :)

Maybe I should just order EVERYTHING :giggle:
