VRS seats and carpet!!! Do they stay clean...HELP!!

Featured Replies

Hi all...just a quick question....

I'm getting a VRS Octavia and all thats in my head is the colour of the seats and carpet.....WHITE!!!

It looks a pain in the **** to keep clean, and a mate of mine who works as a technician at the local dealership says even rain marks stain them!!!

To be honest its starting to put me off getting it!!!!

I've got a carpet shampooer with a Scotchguard spray attachment and I'm hoping this will help!!!!

This is gonna bug me so any advice or experiences will help before I go insane over this.......Lil

I don't know what all the fuss is about tbh. Just don't get in it with muddy clothes and shoes. They'll get grubby but I give the seats / carpets a clean every couple of months with an upholstery cleaner and they're fine. Back seat has a plastic seat cover on to protect against the kids barfing everywhere and I ban eating / drinking in the car anyway.

I had mine treated with supaguard and I aint had any problems whatsoever. I have a 4yr old and a 6 month old and neither have managed to spill, drop or barf anything on the upholstery that didn't come off with a little water and elbow grease. Had the car 9 months and still looks like new ;).

Thanks for the replies guys!!!!:)

Much appreciated....Lil;)

Mine are covered in clear polythene in the fronts - underneath they are as good as new

Agree with the Supaguard comment. Always thought it to be a rip off, but the interior is easy to clean and the exterior looks awesome after cleaning.
