Hi everyone

I've posted a couple of times, but now I'm confident my first Skoda Octavia VRS is on its way, I thoughts its relevant to post here.

I've never driven a Skoda nor an Octavia before, would seem a bit silly buying a new blackline without trying it, especially going for a DSG box having driven manual all my life. However I'm more than confident with my new purchase and my lovely blue VSR is at the port of Emden in Germany awaiting delivery.

I've had a mixture if cars over the 18 years I've been driving, my best being a heavily modified Rev2 MR2 Turbo. With kids now in tow, I've changed to a focus and now currently a CDTI 150 Vectra. But its boring. I need something exciting, something I can fall in love with again. Hopefully my VSR will do that.

I live in Wallasey in the Wirral, so if anyone is local, I'm happy to meet up and share Skoda experiences.

I'm also frequently on the ClubLupo forum, as I bought my missus an 1.4 Lupo - absolutley love it, its an awesome little car.

People on here seem friendly and hopefully I will be here for a long time and contribute.
