WIndscreen water jet

Featured Replies

I am having problem with the front wind screen water jet, they do not come up to the screen. I tried cleaning them but of no help. Please suggest how to do it.

Try with a needle to clean .If is not working ,go and buy new nipples, they are cheap.

They are not adjustable. Try removing and ckeaning. If not just replace. Only a few quid

These are not the "normal washer jets" that most vehicles have. They're called "fan jets", and are probably only available from VAG (Skoda, Volkswagon, and if the makes exist in India Audi and Seat) dealerships.

It's pretty much impossible to clean them, impossible to adjust them, and they need a winscreen cleaner addative to keep them working correctly.

If there is some dirt in them, then attaching a (hand) bike pump might help.... Otherwise buy some new ones.

Disconnect the pipe and blow it backwards with an airline. That's about the best you can do with these. If that don't do it, replace.
