Hi all!

I have just joined this forum because, on Friday morning I placed an order for the new Octavia vRS Blackline (the 2.0 TDI CR 170ps DPF Hatchback version in metallic Race Blue) and I couldn't be more excited to own my first Skoda!

I've been looking at this forum in the run up to my purchase and now I've finally done it I thought I'd say hi!

I hope to come along to a meet in the future and meet some of the guys that have been so very helpful, without even knowing it!

Hi Sarah, I too am pretty excited to be getting a Blackline soon too, still not 100% on what colour yet but fancy white. Shame the black wheels were not more of a anthracite than black but hey ho. I will go for a DSG as the car i have now has it and i love it.

I expect to take delivery at the beginning of October so not too long to wait!

I was torn between the blue and white. I think the white looks great but I'm not known for keeping my cars clean!

My other half has a white VXR8 Bathurst S and unless it's cleaned regularly it just doesn't look as good as it should. Although to be fair, he really looks after it so it always looks good!

I was very impressed when I test drove the car and it's good to hear a recommendation for the DSG!

I've also ordered the blue blackline DSG, can't wait to get hold of it!
