My Stunning VW Bora 2.0 Sport with Extras

Featured Replies

Hi All

Im selling my VW Bora in case you, or someone you know is after a cheap(ish) reliable good looking car

Ive previously sold several cars on this site and every buyer was over the moon

As some of you who know me, may back me up, Im quite particular with my cars, and this is definitely a good one, so feel confident in what I say is honest and true

Facts:-

2000 W Reg 2.0 Petrol Sport (115BHP)

97k with literally a folder full of history

Metallic Mercato Blue Paint (By far the best colour)

Superb condition inside and out

Usual VW Comforts including, E/W x4, E/H/M, R/C/L, PAS, ABS, Climate Control, Multi Function Computer, Alarm/Immobiliser, Tilt Steering, Height adjustable Seats etc etc.

Recent New Battery, Starter Motor and Alternator

Extra's:-

New 18" Audi RS8 Reps in Anthracite with Tyres (less than 1500 miles use!)

New Coilover suspension and Top Mounts professionally fitted 16/08/12

New Rear bushes fitted at same time (common wear point)

New rear VW Badge in Chrome and Blue Carbon Fibre

Gloss Black Vinyl Wrapped Mirrors, Front Grill Slats and Grill Badge

"Joey" Modded headlights (Internals sprayed black) and resealed with fresh sealant

Smoked Side repeaters

Autohaus Wolfsburg Plate surrounds and new front/rear Number Plates

Carbon Fibre Vinyl Wrapped interior handles and probably some other bits I've forgotten :S

It really is one of the cleanest Bora's around, Both inside and out, and I get nothing but compliments about it wherever I go. It is ultra reliable and has never let me down

The ride to say it is sitting low, is pretty comfortable and looks gorgeous, but the coilovers can be easily adjusted higher, if you preferred. By the same token it can be wound down even more (I estimate there is at least another 40mm or more left) should you like the "slammed" look :)

As you can see, this car has had a lot of money spent on it, and it is definitely worth it. Its not the usual examples you usually find on most sites, and I know the first to see will definitely buy!

Ok, so whats the bad points I hear you ask?

Well, as always there are the usual small stone chips on the front end which can be expected of a car of its age, but these do not detract from the overall condition of the paint, which can only be described as excellent

The Multi function computer display in the dash can be quite dull on hot days (remember them? lol) but is really bright on colder days. (Its a common problem due to the ribbon on the circuit board of the cluster having hairline cracks due to hot weather, and can be easily replaced for around £70 by companies on eBay) To be honest, its not really bothered me, but if your ultra picky its an easily solved problem.

There is a small chip in the windscreen, which has been glued and is not in the drivers view (It went through the MOT with it, and not one advisory!)

Its due a service, which is reflected in the asking price

Thats about it, everything else is spot on

Any test drives/inspections welcome (Bring Proof of Insurance) and feel free to HPI Check it, or I can provide one for you.

Absolutely nothing to hide with this car, its a beauty and I am selling it very reluctantly, but needs must... :(

Whoever buys this will be very very happy for sure

Asking price is £1850 (can sort out a brisky discount )

Feel free to PM me and I'll get back to you asap

Sorry, should have specified it is a Petrol 2.0 8v 115bhp as Babs quite rightly stated, same as the non turbo golf GTi's

Cheers

Has this gorgeous Bora gone to a new home? I think I must have seen its twin sister today, on a driveway in Eccles, Salford.

Its not found a new home yet mate, but its had a few bids on ebay and there are quite a few watching it as well

Hopefully it will find another loving home soon.

No worries, chap! Credit where credit's due and all that. I'll see whether I can swing by again and get a surreptitious snap of the doppelgänger in the next few days...

It was in situ this evening, but I was teaching and it was too dark... It's reg is Wnnn AGA, which may be standard issue or perhaps the owner has a thing about posh cookers. Who can say?
