I have been an avid Ford nut for 8 years now... with an almost blue oval history.

Lots of experience in engine modding as well as cosmetic mods in the days of old.

Spending most of my time arsing about with cars I needed something bigger to tow my little trailer and track car with... hence the Octavia.

My problem is that I enjoy bhp and petrol fueling too much so I refused the diesel way of life.... maybe later!!

So I found my Octavia from an old guy.... mental condition (like new).. boosts up and drives very smoothly... 64,000 on the clock with a full Skoda sevice history... could have bought one tuned or an octavia II but this one is such a gem... and not at all fiddled with. At a 55 Plate I could have opted for the Octavia II but I wanted the 20v lump. Reliable simplicity.

That's about it. I am an office guy with a garage and a rather extensive tool collection...I'm no engineer... so I am signing up to this for the knowledge base and community so one day I can get the most out of my car.
